| | Reviewed by: icltd, Snowboarder Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: What can you say. It's small. The runs are short. I can almost guarantee that you will be skiing on man-made snow. However, what do you want in Missouri? The fact they even have a place to go is amazing to me. Basically its a place to learn, have a little fun or get ready for that trip to a real mountain. It's not great, but it is what it is and I applaud them for trying to make the best out of so little to work with.

| | Reviewed by: skywalkerta, Intermediate, from Tulsa OK 74136 Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: I went snowboarding at Snow Creek on 02/15/03. This was my first time snowboarding in the mid-west. I have snowboarded in California in places like Snow Summit, Bear Mountain, Mountain High, and Mammoth and I am sorry to say that Snow Creek does not come close to any of those places. I think they should really change the name to Ice Creek because calling it Snow creek would be false advertising and misleading to someone who has never been there. Yeah they tell you that they have 50 snowmaking machines to cover the entire area but do they ever use those machines??? Because when I went there, there was probably just an inch of small ice pellets on top and below that was SOLID ice. I checked the snow report on the day that I went and it said up to 78 inches of groomed snow. I have no idea how they came up with that figure because I was trying very hard to find those 78 inches. More false advertising I guess. If you are not from the Kansas City area, just save your money and gas and invest in a place where you can snowboard not ice board. It is a very small place and the longest run is 1800 ft. which is basically 1/3 of a mile. From a scale from 1-10 and a 10 being Mammoth, I would give Snow Creek a 2, enough Said.

| | Reviewed by: David Merdian, Double Diamond, from Pleasant Hill, MO, USA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Snow Creek or Ice Creek!? Ok for the money or if you don't wish to drive long hours to the mountains. However, after a few visits you've experienced everyhting there is to. Also, the runs take longer to get up than down.

| | Reviewed by: craig , Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: This place rocks!!! Rattlesnake is a challenge for even the most advanced skiers. The 300 foot verticle drop is a thrill. Snow Creek is must for all avid skiers. I cancelled my trip to Vail and have booked two weeks at Snow Creek. All shredders welcome. See you there.
