Summary:
It's better with more varied runs than most of the Lower Wisconsin places if you can avoid running impaling the congenital idiots who think that standing 1/3 of the way up a ski or snowboard run is a fun activity. Despite that, I'd go back. It's a little far for a one day trip from Chicago. Stay overnight and eat at the Cheese Factory.

Summary:
A great place to learn if you are a beginner, but stay out of the way of us flying out of the terrain park. A good variety of runs that can be serviced by the central, high speed lift. Great for those wanting to imrove their skills. If you are one of those hard assed boarders or skiiers that has a hard time dealing with the 500 foot vert drop, go to Colorado! This is Wisconsin, come on! Cascade is one of the best their is in the area and is a great place to just ski and have fun.

Summary:
I work ski school at Cascade. What do you want to learn? We can teach it to you. If you want good deals and no crowds, WEEKDAYS. Terrain (park) can be fantastic to piss poor, better on weekend mornings. Good variety of bumps. Something for everybody.
