Summary: Signed 8 yr old daughter up for 1/2 day senior day camp w/ lift ticket $74.00+ tax. Child has been in lessons for 3 yrs now. Spent all time on beginner hills, and at one point instructor left children (5 of them) for ten minutes alone, telling them to stay at the base of the lift. Then another, different instructor showed up. By this time, the 4 other (all appearently younger/smaller children than our 8 yr old) had started to wander off. Upon on the arrival of the new instructor, he asked them were they were going, a very small boy replied, "we are going to find our instructor". I am not sure if most parents feel safe dropping their children off because a "password" is requested when they first are left, but no such password was requested of us when we picked up our child at 1145 am. When we left, we were told we had to buy another lift ticket for her as it was not included, for her to continue to ski. We paid $19+ extra for 1/2 day camp w/ lift ticket, then $39+ for half day kids lift ticket, we could have paid $39+ for a full day lift ticket and had lesson only for $54, ripped? This experience was made somewhat, even more so, by the fistfight on the hill and very colourful language on the training hills. if you like the ol' west this is the resort for you. A nice day with your kid(s)....good luck.

Summary: For weekend warriors the lift lines in Blue are unbearable. But what choice do southern ontario skiers have, Blue has the best runs in the area.

Summary: Blue offers a great snowboarding facility, if you are an advanced boarder. The jumps are massive, and if you do not know what you are doing you could get seriously injured. The line ups are ridiculously large, and take a long time to get on the left. The pipes are descent, but the hills are not that long. There is a lot of variety but it is way to packed, I would much rather go to Osler Bluff (Right beside Blue, but its private) Mount St. Louis, or Alpine.

Summary: Everytime I've been to Blue it has been rediculous lift lines...Almost unbearable at times. If it weren't for the price and the crowds, it'd be a good spot. Size wise, it's the biggest in Ontario. I'd go to Mount St. Louis/Moonstone, it's got more variety of runs and is better bang for the buck.
