Summary:
The lake has some of the best terrain in the world and even with the bad snow year you can still get the pow every day. All the "pro skiers" who are scared to scratch their skies just go out for one run and try to hit good pow off the front side fo summit cause they can't stray to far from beavertails lodge. But hell what can I complain that leaves all the fresh to all the local riders who know where to look. All in All the Lake is the best around just try to hook up with a local to show you where to go.

Summary:
Lake Louise has the best terrain in the Banff area. Sunshine does have better snow but after a big dump, go to Lake Louise first. The backside bowls are awesome. Me and my wife were all alone on some of the bowls and it was amazing. Try and also catch the mid-mountain lodge for some great views. If you go to Banff, you have to go to Lake Louise. Remember if you get a tri-area pass, the transportation is free to and from Lake Louise.

Summary:
awesome. Plan to go for more than a day... the place is so big, it'll take you a week to do most of it! Yeah I know it costs like 55$, and you could just go to nakiska for half as much... but lake louise is TWICE as good! BTW sunshines rating would be value: 3 Overal: 4
