Reviewed by: yitmoore, Snowboarder

Price Paid: $75.00

Summary:
This resort has some amazing terrain with the Delirium Dive and Goats Eye Mountain options. Only problem is they might not be open, and if they are not you are stuck riding some very average terrain with runs that make you feel like you have been traversing the whole way down the mountain. Early season and late season are the best times, the middle of the year gets so cold the snow doesn't seem to like to fall as much. Plus its so dry then it often doesn't stick.

If your going with the family its not a bad option because there is lots of beginner stuff and a great ski school staff. But if you want to ride hard there are better places to go.

Customer Service:
Pretty good. The food and beer are fairly high priced, but if your staying in Banff you will have as many options as you want. Nite life will make it tough for you to get to the mountain, the town parties every nite of the week. Weekends get packed with Calgarians and weekdays all the local workers are on the town.

Summary:
I've been here a few times and yeah the snow was bad last year, but where wasn't it. The runs are great, lots of steeps and bowls. I even found lots of untouched pow in a BAD snow year. If you like pow, steeps, and overall awsome riding go here. Anyone knocking Sunshine for the snow last year, yeah, go to Louise. This Rock ain't for you.

Summary:
Very nice resorts, no line ups (even during march break, there's always snow (except last year), with the new gondola this year, it won't take 20 mins to go up the hill but only 7(well that's what they say), the food is good, even if i don't care about that stuff, the employes are super nice and they always have a smile. If u know the mountain, you'll ALWAYS find snow, when they say" you're riding on 100% natural snow, you can actually feel it

Summary:
Bunch of fart-knockers. Yeah the last two years have been pretty crap, but wasn't most of the west? Over the last 15 years it kicks the Lake. Whistler? Ridin in that rain? I don't think so- ice for h-o-c-k-e-y. At least Sunshine doesn't have 2.5 million condos at the base. GET OFF YOUR ASS AND GET THERE FOR THE OPENING RUNS! Beat the lame-o weekenders and go-midweek when there are only euros on the groomed runs. Ride fresh pow all day!
