| | Reviewed by: Carly Gloge, DoubleDiamond, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada Summary: Mystic Ridge/Norquay is ideal for the local Calgarian who does not want to travel further than Banff. Its a great resort for those people who have finished learning how to ski at Wintergreen or COP, and want to find some more challenging terrain. It's a hotspot for racers, and will appeal to families and extreme mogal skiers.

| | Reviewed by: Cyndy Anderson, Intermediate, from Phoenix, AZ, USA Summary: We arrived at Norquay the first week in December. From the moment we stepped from our truck, we were greeted by a resort service staff member who asked what our plans were for the day, if we needed tickets or lessons, etc. We were pleasantly guided to the correct areas AND offered a free tour of the mountain by a ski guide! We were stoked about this offer and took the up on it. The ski guide took us on all the lift chairs and down as many of the slopes as possible, pointing out special areas as we went. Later we hit the bar upstairs, beautiful lodge with huge roaring fires, log cabin look interior, warm bar. Compared to other lodges we have been too, this one was clean and well laid out, so you weren't running over the other skiers trying to get a drink or sandwich. We also visited Sunshine and Lake Louise resorts. Norquay was our favorite by far, being most accessible with the friendliest people.

| | Reviewed by: Kirk Trew, Intermediate, from Saskatoon, Sk. Canada Summary: Not long enough runs but for freestyle snowboarders they have a huge halfpipe and a killer terrain park. Rob Stevens works in the unlimited snowboard shop and ski school. THis place is known for producing riders like Mike Michaelchuk.

| | Reviewed by: Trent Phillips, Advanced, from Amarillo, TX USA Summary: This is a good cruiser resort. Not much of a challenge but fun to ski. There are a couple of runs that you might think twice about, if you are there to ski the bumps you might want to think about going to B.C. This is a good resort to bring a family.

| | Reviewed by: Gianfelice, Intermediate, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada Summary: Not a bad place for the snowboarder who loves halfpipes and tabletops, but the runs are below average. This place costs way too much, considering its size and its mediocre conditions. Go immediately after a snowfall, otherwise don't go at all.
