| | Reviewed by: TMWJr777, Advanced, from Prescott, AZ Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: All you people b*tching about how bad snowbowl sucks need to ride where I came from. I'm from Baltimore and the mountains around there are a joke. $47 for a day of riding on solid ice with 400 feet of verticle. Snowbowl might not be Utah, Colorado or B.C. but its not all that bad. | | Reviewed by: Ben, Intermediate, from Glendale, AZ Summary: Pretty cool resort for the Arizonan who doesn't mind a 2 1/2 hour drive from the Valley. Great on weekdays, you pretty much have the place to yourself until about 1:00 (that's when the NAU students hit the slopes).

| | Reviewed by: gary, Intermediate, from scottsdale, az Summary: While locals and westerners may complain about some of the inadaquacies of snowbowl, it really is a fun place with the some good terrain. I am originally from eastern PA and I could not name a resort less than three hours away that could top this. You would have to go to New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine to find something superior. As for the town of Flagstaff as stated earlier probably one of the best little party towns around, and best of all CHEAP. You could stay at a Marriot for just 60 a night, a HOJO for 35 or some shady motel for as low as 15. (don't recommend the 15$ ones, pay the extra 7 bucks for the 22$ ones, they really aren't too bad).

| | Reviewed by: Nathan, Intermediate, from Casa Grande, AZ, USA Summary: There's only 3 resorts in Arizona and this one would come in second. Sunrise is a much better value and you'll have more fun with their more varied terrain and runs. Snowbowl does have a great catwalk-bowl run off the peak, but I assume a person would get bored after running that 8 times. They just don't have a very big mountain and their lift system is barely worth being called a "system" at all.

| | Reviewed by: d c, DoubleDiamond, from flagstaff Summary: Don't come here. Don't make lines long. Don't stop on the catwalk. Honestly, this place is awful if you have to drive more than 20 min. to get here.
