| | Reviewed by: RichardG, Double Diamond, from Dallas, Texas USA Price Paid: $50.00 at package trip Summary: Excellent bump terrain, some very tough stuff, but the mountain is not as difficult as it pretends to be. There are beginner runs though they are graded blue instead of green. I liked Highlands better, but Ajax is worth a day or two. The town (and everything else) are really expensive and pretentious. Ajax surrendered its biggest asset -- no snowboards -- a few years ago and I haven't skied it since.

| | Reviewed by: Martin Green, Advanced, from Aurora, CO, USA Summary: I was there this past 2001 season to experience the greatest community event. Rreeriding Aspen. Live hiphop, A Big Air comp, many free prizes, converted skiers with danger police tape wrapped around their bodies, and even old school skiers that were truly cool cats and welcoming to the most growing snowsport at the moment. The whole mountain has alot to offer anyone but mainly an advanced mountain for truly adventuresome snowlovers.

| | Reviewed by: Matt Strunk, Advanced, from Chattanooga Summary: I liked Highlands better b/c the runs were a bit more spread out and the snow was a little better and the crowds were smaller. This mtn. caters to a very athletic skier who likes bumps and steep short chutes. You will be ready to leave by the end of the day, It is a very tiring mtn.
