| | Reviewed by: RichardG, Double Diamond, from Dallas, Texas USA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: A great mountain for any level skier except perhaps a low expert. The North Face is tops for double diamond terrain, and the beginner terrain is great too. The friendliest local folk in skidom, by far. The town of Crested Butte, about a mile from the ski area, still has the charm of an old mining town. Endless backcountry alternatives. An excellent spot for a family trip -- plenty to do, on and off the mountain, for all ages and interests.

| | Reviewed by: Sanders , Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Crested Butte is a great mountain to go to. The skiing is unbelievable and there is enough diversity to keep anyone happy. I have been skiing all over the west since I was 4 and CB is by far my favorite place to ski.

| | Reviewed by: noftus, Advanced, from Sydney, Australia Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: One hell of a great PLACE to visit. Unlike some other great ski-areas like Copper and Snowmass where the skiing is great, but the surrounding "town" is crap or non-existant, Crested Butte offers a complete package. The skiing suits all abilities of skiiers (you can never get bored on the North Face), and it has one hell of a cute, vibrant, and friendly town - you'll never forget it. If you want to really enjoy your holiday/vacation, even after you've come off the slopes, definitely consider Crested Butte.

| | Reviewed by: Steve , Intermediate, from Atlanta, GA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: After skiing at 15 different slopes in 5 different states, I've now have a new favorite - Crested Butte. I was initially concerned because the mountain didn't look big enough. But I found more terrain that I like (steep, wide and mostly groomed) than I did at much larger mountains.
