| | Reviewed by: opted4stock, Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Beautiful scenery, great town. Somewhat of an attitude with workers. A few challenging runs. Powder not much to speak about. Could improve with heavier snow falls. I'm spoiled with 20 to 40 inch regular dumps of fresh powder in Little Cottonwood Canyon in Utah. Town getting too commercial over the years with the development. I agree with the locals, keep the pristine beauty without the massive building. Overall fun for the intermediate skier, average for the expert skier.

| | Reviewed by: GPR1, Advanced Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Great mountain town atmosphere. Awesome scenery, lots of very steep runs and beginner terrain. You can see all the way to Utah on Upper See Forever. Lots of vertical/long runs. I went in 1996, before the gold hill lift was opened, so their looks to be a lot more skiable terrain now.

| | Reviewed by: RichardG, Double Diamond, from Dallas, Texas USA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: As beautiful as place to ski as anywhere I've been. The town is in a lovely box canyon, and the views from the mountain are unparalled (all the way to Utah on a clear day). Terrific high end and beginner skiing; not enough intermediate and high intermediate terrain. What used to be a funky non-commercial mountain town is well on the way to becoming the next Aspen.

| | Reviewed by: thomn ixon, Double Diamond, from telluride, co, usa Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: i have lived here most of my life. i remember back when no one knew of this place, when it was totally unspoiled and the mountain village was nothing but a muddy parking lot. now it is being more and more developed and advertised. do you people think that by giving good reviews and telling all your friends about this secret will have any affect on the place? you praise the lack of crowds and small town feel, well if you continue spreading the word that will all change. if you find a stash, keep it to yourself. so to all of you out there thinking that you will take your happy little family out here: stay the f_ck out. you are not welcome. the last thing we need is more gapers from texas and arizona. if you want to keep this place the way it is, keep it secret, and if you must divulge information, say it sucks, because it will anyway if you f_cks keep flocking here.
