Summary:
The backside of this place is awesome. Sustained steeps make a little slow chair ride worth it. besides you'll need it. i won't review the front because i really spent no time there. I love this place it has some of the nicest resort employees i've ever met and the lift tickets are cheap. Only two complaints: even with nearly two feet of new snow there were still rocks everywhere and my skis regret it, but rocks come with the steeper terrain just look before you edge. 2nd problem and the only super major problem with area was lift placement. The back lift seems like they didn't think ahead. to get to half of the steep stuff once on the back side you have to traverse across the other half and you lose football feild sized chunks of incredible terrain in the progress. the problem is that the lift doesn't go to the highest point on the ridge, maybe for some reason they couldn't put it there but if they can they need to move it ASAP. On the same lift getting UP to it from the bottom cat tracks is a pain, a bulldozer would be a huge help here.

Summary:
I've grown up on this ski hill. I and a friend were the first snowboarders in our area circa 1988. I know the owners and they have always encouraged snowboarders, rent snowboards (Burton) and really try to accommodate them instead of ignore or despise them like some areas. There's lots of great double black diamond runs, almost like backcountry in that they're extremely steep and a little "wild". Great place, come and we'll show you a good time. Come in the summer and mountain bike too.

Not a good place to learn. Awesome for thrill seekers but no jumps and no pipe.
