If your idea of apres ski is a drunken brawl in some crummy dive, then you'll find this place crawling with obnoxious Texans and Apaches who are eager to oblige you.
Good skiing, a nice place aftwerwards and pick up a nice looking girl -- go somewhere else. Customer Service:

The 12 mile thrill ride (the drive up the mountain) is only the beginning. People complain about the Apaches -- don't listen. Be friendly to them, they'll return it in full. Be arrogant with them -- same thing. Not the greatest place in the world, but when its good, it's very good. And if nothern NM isn't getting snow, Ski Apache just might. If you hear of El Nino coming, book your trip, cause the snow will be awsome.

over all the top part of the mountain is great, and very wide open but the bottom is pretty crowded and you start running into people all over the mountain, but overall it is worth your trip. the lift prices are alittle heavy, 45.00
