Price Paid: $0.00

Summary:
Great local area; in fact, if it weren't so close to JH it would be worth a trip just to ski it. Groomed down low, ungroomed at the top. Great wide and steep off the top. North facing so the snow stays around. They have a by-the-hour lift ticket that makes it great for a getaway day.

Summary:
Snow King Resort is a fun little place to ski. It was the first ski area in Wyoming. Guests staying at the resort receive complimentary night skiing on two weeknights. There is a good mix of runs, including a mountain traversing green run that's great for warming up or warming down. I'm not sure what it's like on the weekend, but I've never seen it crowded during the week. If you go, check out the King Tube Run, too. We did that one night and had a blast!!! Going over the lip at the top, you shoot almost straight down before evening out near the bottom.

Summary:
It's not a bad place when we get fresh snow, it's affordable. They got their own hotel which can't be too expensive, and I'm sure they've got packages. Like I said before, it's cheaper than the village, has very few people, and it's open at nights.

Summary:
The resort is within walking distance of downtown Jackson Hole. Very convenient to EVERYTHING! The amenities are very nice and they can help you get reservations for snowmobiling, dinner sleigh rides, etc. Ice skating and tubing are nearby if skiing isn't your thing.

Sucks. Don't go if you don't like iced double blacks.
