Summary: This is the best resort in Arizona. Snowbowl sucks big time, especially since they can't make their own snow. When I went there it was dirt, rocks, sticks, trees and other obsticals which made it harder. Sunrise had none of this. The lifts were fast, there was very little crowd, especially at the top, food was decent, employees were awesome and professional. Definately ski Mt. Lemmon and Snowbowl and head directly here, do not pass go because you will NOT get your $200 worth anywhere else in AZ.

Summary: Over all I say this is actually an excellent place, if your from Arizona then you learn to take what you get, and you can't really get better than this so far south.

Summary: When the snow is there it is the equivelent to a quality northeastern us resort. However this is the west, and unfortunately most people who have been here have made trips to Colorado, Utah, Tahoe, or Taos. You really can't compare it to those resorts. This place is basically for local Arizonians. However the distance, 4+ hours from the phoenix area makes this more of a two day destination than a quick day trip. If you're from AZ this is definitely the best we have.
