Reviewed by: yitmoore, Snowboarder Price Paid: $45.00 Summary: Revelstoke resort is as extreme as you can find anywhere. The North Bowl area has more cliff drops than you can imagine, just be careful to watch out for the CLIFF signs because its really easy to get caught in the wrong location. The resort boasts the 2nd highest annual snowfall in Eastern BC, behind only Whitewater. When I was there for 5 days I was getting at least 8cm of fresh everyday - even though it wasn't snowing in the town. Since the resort is new, all the lifts are high speed. Only draw back is the long traverses, the sections in North Bowl you often have to hike out of(not long hikes), and the amenities aren't really in full swing yet. But the glade skiing and bowl skiing are absolutey epic. And most the time you feel like you have the mountain to yourself. Customer Service: Average - the cafeteria was just finished when I got there and I found it to be not so cozy, too commercial feeling. They are supposed to build something more cozy soon, but the resort is only 2 years old. Food was okay. Also, the base lodge is the only one on the mountain, no mid mountain services. The town Revelstoke has plenty of options since it was built up for a long time due to the railroad projects in the mid 1900's.
