A small, cheap resort that offers only icy trails in late December.

Summary:
Low budget, low quality operation. Very poorly managed. If you want cheap and easy, go to Boreal or Soda Springs. If you can afford it at all, go to Sugar Bowl accross the road.

Why go here when Sugar Bowl is across the street?

Summary:
I did not enjoy my experience there. This is my first season. Been boarding six times. I suspect this place is too tame for advanced boarders. As a beginner, I found the beginning slopes too easy and the intermediate slopes too advanced. With all of the choices available in the Tahoe Area, I cannot understand why someone would want to go here.

Summary:
Can't beat the price for what you get. Only think cheaper is Soda Springs. Plenty of easy slopes to practice skiing and boarding. But it gets boring after a while. Watch out for out of control beginners.
