Summary:
A fun mountain, and a nice change of pace from Mammoth. It is great to ski a couple of days here mixed in with a Mammoth trip, if you have the time. When Mammoth is socked in with wind closures and severe weather, June is almost without exception open with less severe weather.

Summary:
Overall, June is a great overall mountain. I've been skiing and boarding June since I could walk. I remember the horror of dropping a ski on the way up the double chair to the lodge from the parking lot! Wheh - one mistake and your not skiing till Dad gets pissed off enough to ski down and carry it back up for you. Anyway, Props to the mountain for keeping the atmosphere in perspective. They are not Aspen and don't intend to be. That keeps the same crowds coming year in and year out. I'm one of them. PS. Hit them up on any given Wednesday and ski for $10. Epic.

Summary:
It's where the locals go when Mammoth is too crowded or tracked out. Definitely worth the cheap lift tickets!
