It's great to hear from some of the guys from Waterman's past, Like Dan Barton. I'll tell you that guy rips the face like no one I have ever seen. Fullspeed hellies on the face. Man!!!! Anyways I hope the current people get there act together soon. I hate to miss another season "ON TOP". Ran into some the guys a mammoth, there bumbed too. Because you know it's all ways a "BEAUTIFUL DAY AT MTN.WATERMAN".

What can I say? started skiing there in '65 when I was five, father was a NSP, I started as an instructor when I was 17, Ski school director in 91 thru 99. I truly miss the place... hasent been the same due to the weather and the the changing of the guard. I miss Lynn Newcomb, Jim Rambo, Cris Milora, all of my good friends on the instructor staff and my "family" from the mountain. A better more friendly hill you couldnt find. fun, fun, fun...

Waterman isn't easy to get to nor is it
reliable.The face of the mountain says it all....don't go up if you take it down
at the end of the day.

Great mountain when the conditions are right, one of the funnest places to slide in the U.S. If you like off piste and can do without amenities go there.
