| | Reviewed by: Bknight, Biker Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Living only 30 minutes from the mountain this is the best deal around. Almost every year you can expect excellent snow conditions with tons of fresh powder. With the Chutes open there is plenty of terrain for every one. They have a high speed 6 person lift on each side making short work of lines, never had to wait more then about 5-10 minutes.
This isn't a huge mountain, but its a great family mountain with nice people who use it. Customer Service: Every time I've dealt with the service they have been prompt, friendly and professional, no complaints there. Similar Products Used: Most of the ski resorts in the Tahoe area, plus Washington.

| | Reviewed by: Steepslover, Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Excellent skiing. Opening the Chutes in 2004-2005 shot this area right up any true expert's list of "must ski" resorts. Perhaps as good as anything at Tahoe - certainly the steeps are longer than anything at Tahoe. Uncrowded. Didn't ski anything other than the Chutes, so don't know about the rest of the area.

| | Reviewed by: Harry Putnam, Intermediate, from Portland, OR Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Nice little resort. Went after Christmas - not too crowded. Very close to Reno. When windy, lift ride can be punishing and visibility at top can be pretty bad. Good, long beginner runs. Enclosed lift is nice to top.

| | Reviewed by: justin , Intermediate, from neavada, reno Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Mt. rose is the closest ski resort to reno (30 min) but it is so high (8000ft base) that some years it hardly gets any snow because the mountin blocks the snow from geting to It so that is a down side also isnt that big. | | Reviewed by: Michael Woodward, Double Diamond, from Reno Nv Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: MT.Rose is 15 minutes from my house so theres no doubt that i love this place. they are always the first resort to open up at tahoe and there are so many (Hidden) runs that none of the tourist know about. (so if you are as a local where all the hot spots are.) And if you do lie in the area a session pass is only $199.99 (great deal). Did i mention 8 ft. of powder? Similar Products Used: None
