Summary:
I purchased Timberline's $150 weekday season pass. A great deal. The only problem is that their terrain is limited, and their lifts are generally slow. However, every non-holiday weekday I've been there, I would estimate there were less than 400 people on the mountain. Palmer lift offers the only runs worth doing. Unfortunately, it gets cold and windy as heck on the lift. The rest of the mountain is so flat there's no reason to turn. There's a good terrain park for snowboarders. I've been a skier my entire life, but the terrain is not diverse enough to only ski there. So I'm forced to pick up snowboarding.

Summary:
Good only for cruising; no bowls, moguls, tree skiing, or steeps. Very crowded when I was there. Good ski school program for beginners (of all ages). Wind and fog can make the skiing dicey.

Price Paid: $0.00

Summary:
Of all the resorts I have ever been to, this was by far the worst resort ever. Most resorts allow for a full refund prior to one hour of being at the resort or on the mountain. We were able to go to all three lifts within 45 minutes only to discover that it was mostly a huge bunny hill. It was so flat that I believe a more appropriate name for this resort would be "Flatline". When we attempted to get a refund for our dissatisfaction with the resort, it was merely pulling teeth to get just $30 out of the ninety that we paid for lift tickets. It seems they picked the wrong portion of the mountain for a ski resort. If you like to traverse, flush your money down the drain, then this mountain is for you. Our three runs consisted of traversing most of the way. When I go to a resort, I like a mountain to be at least a little steep, not just a slight slant. I hated having to only stay strait, bend down low, to at least attempt to make up the next hill, yes I said up.

Meadows is a good local hill, not a destination resort. It's my home resort and I have lots of fun everytime I go there (unless its raining).
