Summary:
Stevens Pass is overall, better than average. Weekends....forget it! Way to many people! Weekdays.....awesome, no lines.

Stevens gets alot of snow, but it isn't that dry pow that you get in the rockies, it is clearly CASCADE CONCRETE. Skiing in the thick stuff here will make you a better skier.

Talking about the runs, there are some great ones. Wild Katz, Nancy & Bobby Chutes, and Rock Garden. Also some decent cruisers.

If Stevens could improve I would say: High Speed Quads on the backs side!

Overall a decent place!

Summary:
Stevens is the best place to ski in Washington, which may or may not be saying something, just take it for what its worth. Crystal seems to get more press but the weather there is terrible constantly, the snow isn't as light, and it has way too many flat rides for snowboarders. Steven's isn't as big as crystal, but not as expensive either. Stevens will play to the best riders out there, they just have to look for the good lines. The best snow and terrain is off the grooms in the trees and off the trails. The backside is where you need to be to appreciate all Stevens has to offer. I've ridden all the North West and Stevens is the best offer this state can give.

Summary:
A great place to work on technique, and have some easy fun with the whole family. It doesn't have the best snow, but then again, where is there good snow in Washington? Overall, it's a fun and accessable place to go.

Reviewed by: Mark, Advanced, from SLC, UT & BOTHELL, WA

Summary:
Really, you call this snow? If I have to hear some snowboarder talk about the "POW" one more time I'm going to puke. Of the 30+ times I skied there in 3 years I found only one day of really good snow. What about terrain? I've been on harder blue runs at Whistler/Alta/Snowbird than the double diamond runs at this resort. The off trail skiing isn't really that good. The vertical rise is not enough. Nothing more disapointing than skiing in the rain or driving 1.5 hrs to arrive in the parking lot to have it rain. I found much better snow droping off the backside across the street on skyline ridge. It's hard to compare a rink-dink resort after you've been to a world class resort. I'd compare this to dining out at McDonalds and spending $40+ dollars for a meal. You walk away with a upset gut and crazy feeling that your wallet has been raped. Even if Crystal is a bit further the terrain is much better.
