Summary: Strictly a beginner/intermediate area, but fun nonetheless. Great nearby ski touring using Badger as a base, and some opportunity for free-heel turns too.

Summary: Badger Pass is a nice little ski mountain. Definitely not a day trip due to the $20. entry fee into Yosemite Park. But if you can spend a week there is a lot to see and do. Nothing is quite as beautiful as Half Dome capped with snow. The resort itself is a great place to bring the family, especially if you have little ones who are learning to ski or snowboard. They also have a great cross country ski program, and lft tickets are still veryy affordable.
