Summary: Going to Mt. Waterman is like steping back in time. It is rustic from the get-go. Takes forever to get there but well worth it after a dump. Skiied there after a 2 foot dump and had the time of my life on the front face. It is one of the only places left in the world with diesel powered lifts and a single chair lift. Don't go here if you are a beginner or in weak snow years. It has to be a good snow year to even think about going. This place is a treat to see. Most everything looks orignal from the 1940's.

Summary: I've only been here once and I've decided to purchase a freedom pass. It's a great place to learn, but a little on the crowded side with only 3 lifts. But hey, it's only the beginning of the season so I can't complain. They should have more staff maintaining the run, because I found myself dodging gravel at the top.

Summary: This resort is not the place to be on the weekends. You almost can not get down the mountain on a weekend. The place is much better on a week day and very good at night. I almost only go here for night boarding. You can make it all the way down the mountain at night and not see anyone.(depending on what day of the week)
