Summary: Skibowl staff are very nice, and the night skiing is awesome. The best night so far up there was during near zero visibility due to the rapid snowfall during night skiing, the lift rides are only roughly 4-5 minutes long from p/u to dropoff and we were accumilating about 3 inches of snow on our coats on the rides up the lifts. Just flat out beautiful up there, I highly recommend it too everyone if you have not experienced night skiing. Following my first ski trip I was hooked for life. Skibowl offers a 2 for 1 night ski voucher in your Entertainment books, use them as you wont regret it.

Summary: Closest resort to Portland. Upper Bowl is the spot on Hood for mass quantities of thigh burning vertical descents with minimal liftline time. Up, DOWN,up, DOWN, Up down... The ride up the upper lift is only about 4 minutes and then you have about 800 feet of vertical with no lift line. It's like doing 800 meter intervals on the track. Whew!!!!

Summary: First ski area that convinced me that it was worth purchasing a season pass. The attitude and atmosphere are the best on Hood. Can always find a good time, even when the snow is crud!
